Diagnostics are professional work.
A diagnostic fee covers investigation, included appointment time, findings, immediate safe corrections within the appointment, explanation of likely cause, and recommended next steps.
It does not guarantee complete resolution within the appointment, especially when hardware failure, missing credentials, severe corruption, parts, licensing, or technical feasibility are involved.
Approval before extra work.
Additional remediation, return visits, replacement parts, paid software, subscriptions, and out-of-scope work are billed separately. Written or clearly documented approval is required before exceeding agreed scope.
